I just bought Advance Wars: Dual Strike used. How do I clear the data so I can start over?

Before starting the game, at the DS menu screen, hold the left trigger [L] and right [->] on the D-pad and [select] together, and finally click A to start the game. It will ask you if you want to reset the game.
