What does it mean to have a deep crack down the centre of your tongue?
My husband has a deep crack that runs from the back of his tongue to the front. Its been there for years and is causing him no pain, its not an open wound, just a deep crack. I'm wondering if this is a problem? Should we get it checked by someone? Maybe he is dehydrated and this is the cause?
bad digestion ....... likely he is eating foods to which he is intolerant and therefore hindering his digestion ......... milk and dairy products are notoriously hard to digest so perhaps cut back on the amount of dairy products he eats........... encourage him to eat more leafy and green vegies like broccolli, kale, chard, celery, buk choy ...... they will all increase the production of hydrochloric acid in his tummy thus aiding in digestion and helping to eliminate any issues he may have with constipation........ they are also spectacularly rich in calcium and magnesium in a much easier to assimilate form than all that milk and dairy.
eat foods in as close to their natural state as possible ie ~ fresh low sugar fruits like pears, watermelon, strawberries, leafy and green vegies lightly steamed, lean meats and fishes, organic nuts and seeds like almonds and brazil nuts and sunflower seeds, wholegrains and cereals like brown rice, quinoa, legumes like green beans, chickpeas, lentils ........... try to avoid eating a diet high in processed salt, processed sugar, animal protein, saturated fat, sodas, pop and soft drink, caffeine as all will raise the uric acid levels in your blood stream thus prompting the body to leach the calcium and magnesium right out of your bones ....... both are essential for healthy digestion, neural functioning, nerve and muscle functioning, bone, tooth and heart health.
try to drink fluids 20 minutes before meals and 20 minutes after to aid in digestion rather than hinder it.
