Writing to DVD?
Hi There for quite sometime i have been backing up my DVD's using Nero, and Blank DVD+R, Then for some reason when I now try it comes failed to write to disk, I have tried clone, and DVD srink, and the same happens. However I tried a DVD-R and it did write to disk, but will not work on my Dvd Player. I was told it could be that the size of the disk is to small, so I got Dual layer, and that comes up with the same problem. What I can't understand is sometimes it will write, and sometimes it won't. I have checked the Nero tool kit and the boxes are ticked. One other thing I have noticed is that if I click on the D drive icon to open up the blank disk it comes with a message saying Disk not assessible incorrect function, or tells me to Insert disk. Please help as I have run out of ideas.
Sounds like a faulty DVD writer.
New DVD units are pretty cheap these days, less than £20, so I would just buy a new one. They're pretty easy to install.
