How can I find former major League Baseball players?
I am interested in finding phone numbers, snail mail addresses or email addresses for former major league baseball players who had a very short, "cup of coffee" type career in either the 1970's or 1980's (less than two years - 100 or fewer AB in total career or less than 50IP). I just want to talk with them about their MLB experience.
The easiest ones to find will be those who've stayed in organized baseball - it's not unusual for marginal former players to hang on as minor league coaches or the like. If you find them, write to the care of whatever organization they're working for.
You might also try the MLB Players Association - they would keep contact info for many players.
